Do you ship canine blood products nationwide?

Yes. NAVBB ships canine pRBC, fresh frozen plasma, and whole blood to licensed veterinary practices across the contiguous United States. All products are shipped in validated cold chain packaging to maintain required storage temperatures during transit.

How do I order canine blood products from NAVBB?

Create a free veterinary account at navbb.com. Once your account is verified and approved — typically within one business day — you can log in to view real-time inventory and place orders online 24/7.

Do I need to know my patients blood type?

NAVBB strongly encourages utilizing type specific blood products. With over 65% of the canine population having a DEA 1 positive blood type, it is important to save DEA 1 negative products for true DEA 1 dogs in need.

I've placed an order, when can I expect it?

pRBC orders placed before 3:00 pm EST Monday-Thursday will be shipped out same day and overnighted to your hospital. FFP orders placed before 2:30 pm EST Monday-Thursday will be shipped out same day and overnighted to your hospital. All orders placed outside of this window will be shipped on the following shipping day. Please note that we do not ship orders the day before UPS is closed.

What canine blood products does NAVBB supply?

NAVBB supplies three primary canine blood products: packed red blood cells (pRBC), fresh frozen plasma (FFP), and whole blood. All products are sourced from healthy volunteer canine donors and processed at our NAVBB blood banking facilities.

Do you have a waitlist?

No. We post products as they become available and it is first come first serve.
