Donor: Jameson | Recipient: Zuzu
Zuzu, from Northern Virginia, went into the emergency room very sick. The vets determined that she needed an emergency transfusion to make it through the day. They called NAVBB where Jameson, a brand new donor, had just donated and was the perfect blood type for Zuzu.
Due to the urgency, NAVBB staff hand-delivered the newly donated and processed blood to the emergency center where Zuzu was waiting.
The donation Jameson gave that day gave helped save her life and she was able to return home to her loving family.
